Kett was really getting tired of this. She screamed out to all the candidates to get there attention, "Quiet!" Then she said more quietly in a dangerous tone, "I want no sharding arguments happening here. You all sound like a bunch of fighting brats! Now, I want you all to apologize to each other. I am tired all the arguing going on. I brought you all together today to meet each other, and it seems like we aren't getting anything done. I am dismissing you all for today. Maybe tomorrow we will have manners and we won't sharding disrupt class. How does that sound? Think about it. Tomorrow is a required lesson, I expect you all to be there, and anyone that is late has a choice of extra chores or running in the morning." Then Kett turned to Zadari and said, "I expect you there. Come to class tomorrow with a better attitude and I will pretend like nothing happened." Then she turned to the rest of the class and said, "I expect you all to be polite and courteous to one another. I don't want any sharding attitudes in this class, understood?"

Roasha shook her head. She had stayed out of all of those arguments. That was what a drudge did. You had to learn to be invisible.
Was she doing the right thing standing? She shook her head. She had nothing to lose by trying.
Arilan for his part, stood there somewhat defiant. He would apologize when Zadari did...she was the one who had disrupted the class. Or at least, he would give her the chance to speak first. If she refused, then he supposed he would have to try to be a better person than her, as little as he felt like it.

Scaeva paused as the boy fainted and the Scarlet started to move, backing away from the dragon. She wasn't quite sure just how controlled they were in their movements- something that big had to be clumsy sometimes. Runnerbeasts were, stable as they looked. When the Candidatemaster started shouting at them, Scaeva also saw no reason to apologize for anything seeing as she had only been getting out of the way, not arguing.
Dive turned to hiss at Kett before circling back to Scaeva to land on her head. She swiped him off her head, pressing the Blue to her thin chest. "Don't you do that," she scolded in a soft voice. "Can't you hear she's sick of attitudes?" Scaeva really didn't care, but didn't want to be in trouble from the Weyrlingmaster for something her flitt did. Humph.
Brishen had kept his mouth shut for most of the lesson and only frowned slightly at all the going-ons. There hadn't been Candidate meetings like this in the Weyr he had lived at before... maybe this was why. Hopefully things would turn out better tomorrow...
