1. Normal RP rules-no godmoding, power-playing, chatspeak, etc. (if you don't know what that is, feel free to ask one of the admins. :3)
2. There is no set post minimum, but we do request that you get at least four sentences into a post. Writer's block is understood.Remember that we believe in Quality over Quantity.
3. There will be, once in a while, a female that impresses a brown or blue dragon.
4. There will be mutations (e.g. new colors).
5. Pearl, Gold, Silver, and Rainbow firelizards will be earned; Not every rper will be able to get one right off the bat.
6. Respect all the other players, help newbies, etc.
7. Characters must be accepted before you can rp with them; you may have as many as you wish. But only take on as many as you can play. Do not over load yourself with to many characters.
8. Keep all posts PG-13 and under.
9. It is preferred that you do not refer to males as 'kings'. Pern has queen dragons, yes, but the males are not kings. Males are males, and although some are high-ranking and others lower, none are the 'leaders' of the dragons and shouldn't be referred to as such.
10. And Please know what DRoP is, there isn't much sense in joining if you don't know what it is.
In order to post your new character you have to use firelizard to get to that, and put it at the bottom of you thread!
HAD Rules!
1. HAD's are people who can 'hear all dragons'- usually only a dragon's rider and other dragons can hear a dragon, these are people who hear all of them.
2. HAD's are rare. We won't be accepting many, and there definately won't be more than one per player.
3. To get a HAD, it needs a very, very good application. We won't just be accepting anyone.
4. HAD's are most often girls, if you want to make a male (which Sparrow doesn't believe exist and won't accept but maybe the other admins will be nice) it needs an extra, extra good application.
5. Some HAD's like to keep their abilities secret, if applying for one, write in their app. whether they do this or not, and if rping with one, check. That means they've probably asked the dragons not to tell their riders that they can hear them too and riders should, thus, not act like they know. Dragons can though, but only dragons.
6. Make it obvious in your application that your character is a HAD or Sparrow will eat you. D<
