Andol nodded and siad " Let's just hope that there is a dragon like that among the ones that will hacth." Andol just sighed. He was a obvious pessiment. Better to expect dissapontment that way when it came it would not be so bad.

Arilan grinned. "Hey, I can wait a clutch or two to get the right one. I mean, it has to be the perfect dragon."
Color, he thought, didn't matter as much as personality. He would accept whatever role he was given and try to do it well.

Andol nodded and siad " Yeah that is ture. I hope I get a very open dragon that will get me out of my shell. Though what color it would be does not matter at all." Though Andol was hoping it was not somthing like a bronze becuase then he would have to act like a leader which was somthing he could never do.

Ife chittered excitedly at that and started to fly towards the lake. The little bronze loved the water.

Andol smiled and siad " Sure why not. I mean I know that all of my fair need a bath right about now. So I guess going to to swim would be fun." Andol figuring that Arlian would follow began to head in that direction.

Arilan wandered towards the lake. "Ife likes to water fight. Do any of yours?"
Now, a water fight against a dragon...a scary prospect he was pretty much bound to lose. "I think somebody's already over there..."

Andol nodded and siad " Yep mine love to water fight all the time. I mean we do it everytime we go swimming. When he menationed he saw someone Andol looked around and siad " Were I don't see them."

"In the water. I think it's Roasha." Arilan liked the blonde Candidate...maybe not liked as in like a girl, but as a person. "The other person here who needs an injection of self esteem. She's convinced ex-drudges never Impress."
How Roasha had even ended up a drudge escaped him. She was way too smart and competent.

Andol looked and he thought he saw her which made him start to blush alot. He like Roasha. Though he was still a candidate so there was nothing he could do about it. That did not stop him form liking her. He just said softly " Oh thats good."

Roasha waved as she saw the two boys arrive. "Hey there. You guys wishing the eggs would hatch too?" Treasure was sunning herself on the beach, the pearl firelizard did not even move, even when Ife chittered to her brightly.
"Definitely," Arilan admitted.
"I wish they'd hurry up. Not that I'll Impress, but..."
Inwardly, Arilan sighed. Why was everyone here so down on him or herself?
