Roasha slipped into the kitchens, wandering over to the snack table to 'steal' herself a small meatroll.
Treasure lifted off from her shoulder, circling over the food, but being good and not taking any yet. The little pearl was growing well, as big as a gold her age if not bigger, and she seemed to become lovelier every day.
When would there be dragon eggs? Roasha mused. "And will there be another like Azarith or Treasure."
Treasure seemed to make that more likely.

As usual, Tianthe preceded Tirasha into the kitchens. The Green was the only hungry one, or else Willow was hiding any twinges in the belly because he knew His didn't want to be here that much. But at least Tianthe had been kind enough to choose a time to eat that there wouldn't be too many others in the kitchen.
Tirasha followed the little Green over to the snack table, where Tianthe had happily settled and was already munching on a meatroll. Willow chirped to some company that surprised him- the young Pearl flitter. He didn't leave Tirasha's shoulder though, content just watching the pretty little queen for now.
"Oh hush Willow, no queen wants to listen to you," Tirasha told the Bronze with a teasing smile. Willow gave his tail a flick, not particularly worried. "Your fire-lizard looks like she's doing well," Tirasha commented to the girl, feeling the need to make a comment. The Healer wasn't really looking for a conversation, but when there were only two people in the room it felt more awkward to stay silent than anything.

Roasha glanced over. "I think she's a wee bit young yet."
A bit young the queen might be, but she did tilt her head at Willow. And then she glanced over at Tianthe. Wait.
If Tianthe had a meatroll, Treasure wanted a meatroll too! She flitted over to the plate to claim one, glaring at the green. It would have been regal had she been fully grown.
As it stood, it only managed to be cute.
