MINE! Minemineminemine! Lookies, looklooklook! Sand, so much sand. I want to go play. Can I go play? I will go play? Okay! Livith gave her rider no more warning as she ran a few paces before dropping to the sands and wriggling like a hatchling, squealing with delightl as she got herself dirty. Jordana was no more pleased by this development than anyone else, eying the sand sticking to the green's hide with something akin to dismay. She'd just oiled the flighty creature. Oh well, she should have known better than to bright her green to the beach after a bath.
"You're going to need another bath." Amusement coloured Jordana's voice as she stepped closer, staying away from the lashing tail of her young dragon. Livith merely squealed in response, cooing happily as she rubbed herself deeper into the sands. How Jordana had ended up with a flightly, air-headed green, no one figured out. Jordana herself was usually quiet, rather somber at most times, unless of course she was alone with Livith, like now as she pulled a face at her green before walking tot he water and attempting to splash her.
Livith of course, retailiated by getting up and pushing Jordana into the water, trilling happily and running off. Haha! Mine is all wetstickysalty now! Yesyesyes she is. Mine be sandy like Livith? Look, Livith show. Reaching forward she pushed hJordana gently onto the sand, squealing happily when her rider spluttered at her. "Livith!" She definately needed to calm her down. Thinkthink. "Oh Livith, what about building a sandcastle?" As predicted, Livith stilled imediately. A what? "Sandcastle, a great big one. Or a sandweyr I suppose..." Oh! A sandweyr! I want to build one!

Andol was walking along the beach with Iron flying around above his head. He felt the sun on his skin and he looked at the sand and thought to himself that this is one of the few before that he had ever enjoyed being outside. That was when he saw the green dragon and its rider and he stopped. Iron at this time flew down and land on his shoulders. He reached up and petted the firelizard and wondered for a second and decided to sit in the sand and watch them for awhile. He then pulled Iron off his shoulders and sat there watching.

No matter how far away someone sat frmo Livith, she was bound to find them, even now as she was helping her rider by sweeping the sand closer, she looked up, and once she'd spotted the boy... There was no escape. Eyes whirled quickly as she bounced foward, propbably spraying the poor boy with sand as she skidded to a halt.
Then he'd find a muzzle in his face, a green dragon sniffling at him excitedly before she spoke, mind voice sweet and hyper. Oooooh! You'sa sparklesparkle. You come help Livith build sand weyr, yesyesyesyesyes. PLease do, Livith lieks friends, you will be Livith's friend, yes? "Livith, don't bother the poor boy." Jordana laughed, standing from where she'd been to move over to her green dragon, who crooned in response. "I'm sorry about that. I'm Jordana, rider of this lump of moss, Livith." I like moss. It's green and fluffy!

Andol was surprised abit about the dragon getting in his face, but she was not really brothering him. He had small smile on his face at the greens antics. He himself was not brothered by the dragon because he rather liked them. It was the rider that brothered him, but he knew that it could not be helped. He stood up and reached out and began to rub the green. He said without his usual stammer " It's okay she's not brothering me and of course I would like help and of course I will be your friend." He then smiled a larger smile at the green.

The moment the boy smiled, Livith knew she was safe. Amazingly, the green was good at reading people, or simple signs anyway. A smile was good, a frown was bad, he'd smiled though, so it was completely okay! Crooning in happiness as he gently rubbed her hide, the small green instantly lent into that hand slightly, eyes half closing in enjoyment until Jordana nudged her, her adoring eyes instantly turning on her rider with a happy trill. Yay! Friendfriendfriend. I likes friends. I dododo, yesyesyes,I do. A pause, before the green tilted her head at the boy, looking at him in slight confusion. Yousa not need to be scared of Mine. She nevernever hurt you, ever, Mine is specialminelove, she not hurt anyone.
Jordana had noted the stammer and instantly felt guilty, she knew she wasn't really good at talking to people, but she didn't by any chance think she was terrifying. Livith would never have chosen her if she was, the green was rather easily frightened by things. "That's good, a lot of people don't have your patience with her, she's rather excitable." As if to prove this, the green dragon bounded away to nudge at her pile of sand, telling them both without speaking she wanted to make her sand weyr.

Andol listened to what Livith said. He trusted the dragon even though he did not know her that well he found her a very sweet creature that even though seemed annoying was quite nice. He enjoyed her presences. He then turned and looked at Jordana and said to her " I am sorry. I am just not very good around people. It takes me a lot longer to warm up to them then it does the dragons and personally I don't find Livith annoying at all. I find her quite pleasant. He said this and then walked over to where the green was piling up sand and began to help her build the sand weyr.

Jordana blinked a few times, the boy was apologising to her? Why? It wasn't her that was offended when they called the green annoying, it was her who threatened to knock their teeth down their throat, big difference. It was Livith who got upset, it was Livith who was let down. Not her. Jordana understood shyness, even if she didn't see the point in it herself, you only lived once.
"No worries. It's not a problem, honest, I'm sorry I mentioned it." The green rider spoke softly before moving over to sit between her dragon's forelegs to help her. Livith nudged her playfully, pressing her sandy nose into Jordana's cheek with all the love a dragon possessed for her rider showing in the green's softly whirling eyes as her rider attempted to explain why it was hard for her to help.
"Oh, just let Livith know if you need her to slow down. She knows she talks fast, don't you love?" Grinning up at her dragon as Livith sneezed from the sand while nodding. I do, yesyesyesyesyesyes, but I always talk like this, mhm, I do. I don't understand why others don't.

Andol let Iron go at that point so he could fly around, but all he did was land right beside Andol. Andol felt sorry he had apolgized he guessed he just was not good at talking to people. He then releized for the first time that he had forgot to wear a long sleeve shirt that covered the about 30 or more small scars on his upper arm. He just hit his head once and said " Stupid Stupid Stupid." He tried to cover it with his hand, but he knew it was futil they had probley all ready saw it. He just sat there and looked down at the sand weyr not really working on it. He just wanted it all to go away. Iron rubbed his head aginst Andol side to try and comfront him.

Perhaps Andol would feel more comfortable that Livith hadn't been paying attention to his arms, not like her rider, who had noted the scares, but chosen to say nothing about it. He was uncomfortable enough in her presence, whether that was because she was a rider, or just because he might find her naturally intimidating, Jordana wasn't ure. She was curious about him though, it wasn't often candidates were uncomfortable around dragons and their riders. They had to get used to working with everyone else, as a group that was it.
Livith seemed to think she'd upset the boy, reaching out towards him and snuffling gently in his hair in an attempt to cheer him up.

Andol feeling Livith snuffling his hair. I made him feel better. He reached up and hugged the green and said to it " Thank you Livith. Thank you." He then sat back were he was and gave a small smile that was directed at Livith. He then looked at the ground to avoid the gaze of the rider. He was still nerverous around her. Because he still did not know her that well and even if she seemed nice. She could always turn out like those people at home and be abuseive to him and that would cause him to get depressed and to hurt himself agian that was why he really was only comfrontable around the dragons becuase he knew they would not do that to him. He just said to the rider while stammering " I a-m s-or-ry I a-m no-t ve-ry ta-lk-ati-ve I m-us-t b-e a in-cred-iable- bo-re t-o y-ou. I-t's a-m ju-st ner-ve-ous a-nd s-car-ed." Iron curled close to his to keep him comfrontable.

Ooooh cuddles! Cuddlescuddlescuddles. I likes cuddles. Nuzzling him happily, Livith crooned softly at him, she ddn't understand what he was thanking her for, but she was going to accept it anyway, he seemed more comfortable cuddling her and that was completely fine with Livith.
"Not really." Jordana replied softly, shrugging her shoulders as she gently patted the sand mound in front of her. Every detail would have to be perfect in their little sandweyr, or Jordana would end up redoing it over and over to Livith's satisfaction, besides the boy seemed more comfortable without her looking at him. How was he going to manage being a rider? Jordana dealt with rude people daily, and she was only a green rider. If he Impressed a high ranker, he'd have to learn to talk a great deal, to people that were even ruder than holders. Bronze and Silver riders.
"I've seen runners like you." To some, this would be an insult, to Jordana who had worked with the beasts, it was a compliment. "Very skittish as young foals you know? Like Light Foot, he wouldn't come near anyone. But he sort of came out of his shell. He learned to trust, learned to see that we weren't all bad... That's what you need to see. That not everyone is bad, or evil. Some of us are rather lovely, some are confused, and some even just really lost. Some find their way, some don't. But it's those who lose their way and find the path again that are truely greater than those who never strayed." Hopefully, he would understand her cryptic words, if not, it gave him something to think about.
