Zirmal walked along the beach. He was bored, and he'd already moved all of his stuff into his room at the candidate barracks. A soft seaward breeze gently ruffled his firey copper tinted red hair.
He was wishing he had a firelizard, much like his sister did. It'd make it easier on him than having to ask her if she could send Zalren with the message. In a way, he was hoping he might stummble upon a gold's clutch while out wondering along the beach. One could always hope.

Scaeva was happy to escape the Weyr for a moment. She was so much more used to constant travel, and knowing everyone around her. Now she was stuck in a place with new people and they never seemed to move. The chores were of a very different sort too. Scaeva was used to tending to runners and canines every morning, occasionally cooking although she wasn't too good at it, and now she was doing lots and lots of cleaning.
There hadn't been houses in her caravan, only tents and wagons that rarely needed a sweeping. A tent you could just shake the dust out of, wagons... well, people didn't go in them much so there wasn't much reason to keep them really clean. Handling a broom was a new thing for her.
At least she still had her fire-lizards for company, a trio that she knew well and that were very good at helping her meet others in their own sort of way. And now apparently they were at it again for Dive suddenly shot forward (he had been flying just behind her before) with an excited trill.
The large Blue headed right for a boy... another Candidate? Scaeva wasn't sure she recognized him. But there were plenty she didn't recognize at the Weyr, that was nothing new. "Um, hey." She smiled at the boy and mentally called Dive back, she didn't need the fire-lizard frightening people. At least Shy and Kih remained tamely and quietly perched on her shoulders.

This made him very nervous hoping that they would not see him. Yet Iron had other plans and flew out of Andol's arms and flew and landed on the boys shoulders and chriped a greeting at him. Andol then did somthing he did not usllay do he approched the boy and the girl in order to try and retreve Iron. He walk up to them nerverouslly and said to both of them " He-ll-o. When Dive came up to him, Zirmal was a bit surprized, but never frightened. He smiled at the blue flitter, before looking at his bonded. "Hello. I take it the blue's yours?"He asked, watching Dive a little.
Zirmal looked at Iron when he landed on his shoulder. "Hello there, you're not any firelizard I know of, yet. Hello Andol, I'm Zirmal. Nice to meet you. Is this little guy on my shoulder yours?"

"Yeah." Scaeva smiled as Dive circled back and landed on her head, the only perch left since her Brown was on one shoulder and her second Blue on the other. "He's Dive.... and I'm Scaeva."
She glanced at the other boy and smiled. "Is the Brown yours then?" Dive was bold around others, but never actually landed on others. "What's his name?" Dive and Kih chirped greetings to the Brown, Shy tried to duck a little further behind Scaeva's neck, hoping he wouldn't be noticed.

Andol was extremely nervous and he knew that if he did not hold Iron in a few sec he would probably faint so he reached up and unceremoniously plucked Iron off the boys shoulders and then cluched him in his arms. Iron made no nosie nor protest and he began to rub his head aginst Andols chest to comfort his. Andol began to pet the firelizard and said to the two " Y-es h-e i-s min-e an-d hi-s n-am-e is I-ron." Iron then form Andols arms chriped at the other flits.
