Althea Weyr: Reborn

History:[/u] Althea Weyr, a pleasant weyr, not very popular, but doing its part in a Fall, was slowly evacuated after many years of no Thread Fall. When the last queen transferred to a more populated weyr, Althea became a ghost. Nobody knew if it was real or not, and nobody could locate it. Slowly, people began to forget the weyr. Why would they remember a weyr where no one resided? There was no one left to recall the flowing hills and small lake much less the twist and turns of the passages of the weyr above and below ground. The gray hue of the blocks that created the weyr contrast sharply against the healthy green of the area, barren and forgotten by all that would make it lively once again.
One day, a frustrated junior queen took flight vowing never to return to the weyr that constricted her and refused to utilize all of her abilities. Pure luck allowed her to soar over the abandoned weyr and caused her eyes to catch sight of the lonely buildings. She made it her life's work to reinhabit the weyr and make it thrive once again. Now begins the struggle to find members to fill the empty weyrs and drudges to work the kitchens. The nearby hold is still empty; no lord or lady holder to make it thrive. They will both prosper again, if their determined gold and her rider have anything to say about it.
An original plot that's been cooking for a while will be emerging in the weyr. It's definitely a loose canon and everyone will have a chance to be a vital part in the plot. Come and check us out!
