Appearence: Like her father, she has light coppery colored hair. As well as eyes that are light blue flecked with amber. As well she has a slight almond shape to her eyes. She's tall for her age, but only by a bit. She's fairly well proportioned, but somewhat on the skinny side. She keeps her hair cut at shoulder length, that keeps it out of the way for the most part. She usually wears plain functional clothing, trousers and a tunic. She has very tanned skin from being outside so much.
Personality: Zinera is a 'down to earth' kind of person and tries to think things out before she acts. She thinks things out before acting so that she doesn't so something that could possibly get her forcibly removed from the weyr. She's often full of surprises and she never seems to be alone. The surprises with her are often random spontaniousness that she tries to keep under control. She's always talking to someone, but it's hard to tell if it's an imaginary friend or what, but now that she's older she is able to tell them that it is the dragons. She loves to be out in the sun, or in the water/near shore. She usually prefers to be by herself, but Karlan still with her. She can get along just fine with others, but they do not understand her special gift of talking with any and all dragons that want to talk with her.
History: Zinera was born at Ista Weyr, 9 months following Ranith's Maiden flight. Her mother is a blue rider, and had hidden herself as a guy. Her mother couldn't bring herself to stay between long enough to kill Zinera in the womb so her secret wouldn't be revieled. After she was born, Zinera's mother really didn't want anything to do with her. So Z'mer took over her care, at least as best he could. He ended up bringing her, as soon as he could, to his family at Ista Hold, and asked one of his older sisters that was nursing at the time if she could help him with Zinera.
Since then Zinera has lived at the hold, at least up until just before Osenth's First Clutch hatched. Z'mer wants to be in her life as she grows up because he for one knows that it would be very unlikely for him to ever have another kid. It's not that he's unable to it's just that (as in his profile) he likes other men better.
Zinera decided to come to PBW for a change of pace. Though a candidate at Pearl Bay Weyr, she wanted to go somewhere that was new. She knew Pearl Bay like the back of her hand, she grew up there since she was three.
-Zalren, the bronze firelizard, bonded to her after she turned 6 turns and knew better how to care for him. He used to be her father's firelizard, but he swapped who he looked to for Zinera.
Pets: Bronze Zalren
Other: Zinera still has the wooden dragon toys that her uncle had made her. The one of Ranith, her father's green, is the one in the best condition because she never played with it hard like the others. They show the signs of being played with, but are still much loved toys. Though she keeps them hidden.
