||Pearl Bay Weyr||
It has been two Turns since the refounding of Pearl Bay Weyr. Pearl Azarith has yet to rise in her first mating flight. Because of the machine they dropped on the Red Star, everyone believes there will be no need for the riders anymore. What they don't realize is that it has made the Star's orbit change; not so that it no longer drops thread on Pern, but so that it passes by and drops them more often.
Silvers and Rainbows have, instead of a second stomach for chewed firestone, a gland which they can control to breath fire. It is necessary because firestone stores throughout Pern have all but disappeared. It is hoped that any hatchlings Azarith clutches will have this ability, including the original colors. Weyrwoman Jasmyn believes that Thread will come again... will you help her fight it?
After the weyr was well settled and a handful of riders settled in, Azarith took off on her maiden flight.

May, 22~ Azarith's flight has started, all bronzes and Silvers need to get their butts in gear and get going. The winner will be chosen according to quality of posts.

News

Azarith's flight will be sometime within the next few weeks. I'd like there to be at least one other silver and bronze played by different people, before the flight starts. I'm going to make a poll and I'd like everyone to vote.

Color, he thought, didn't matter as much as personality. He would accept whatever role he was given and try to do it well.

Though Andol was hoping it was not somthing like a bronze becuase then he would have to act like a leader which was somthing he could never do.

Ife chittered excitedly at that and started to fly towards the lake. The little bronze loved the water.

How Roasha had even ended up a drudge escaped him. She was way too smart and competent.
