||Pearl Bay Weyr||
It has been two Turns since the refounding of Pearl Bay Weyr. Pearl Azarith has yet to rise in her first mating flight. Because of the machine they dropped on the Red Star, everyone believes there will be no need for the riders anymore. What they don't realize is that it has made the Star's orbit change; not so that it no longer drops thread on Pern, but so that it passes by and drops them more often.
Silvers and Rainbows have, instead of a second stomach for chewed firestone, a gland which they can control to breath fire. It is necessary because firestone stores throughout Pern have all but disappeared. It is hoped that any hatchlings Azarith clutches will have this ability, including the original colors. Weyrwoman Jasmyn believes that Thread will come again... will you help her fight it?
After the weyr was well settled and a handful of riders settled in, Azarith took off on her maiden flight.

A new site, yay!
The application form is up, feel free to make characters!
Our banner is up, the advertisment draft is here too- any suggestions for it?
May, 22~ Azarith's flight has started, all bronzes and Silvers need to get their butts in gear and get going. The winner will be chosen according to quality of posts.
News
Azarith's flight will be sometime within the next few weeks. I'd like there to be at least one other silver and bronze played by different people, before the flight starts.
I'm going to make a poll and I'd like everyone to vote.

Dragon Wings « Thread Started on Apr 20, 2008, 2:44pm »
Loft Wing --Dragons of the Loft Wing are the largest males and have the most staying power. They fly at the highest altitude, getting as much Thread as they can before it falls to lower Wings. This Wing is made up mostly of Silvers, Bronzes, and Rainbows but the occasional large Brown or Color-phase could end up in it.--
Wingleader: Wingsecond: Wingriders: S'cyn of Bronze Rodath, V'ri of Bronze Decoth, D'nor or Silver Kaerth, E'mil of Bronze Amperoth, D'ran of Bronze Thorith
Crux Wing --Dragons of the Crux wing are the medium-sized dragons, with medium stamina and agility. They fly at a height between the Loft and Nadir Wings, getting Thread that those in the Loft Wing missed. The dragons who usually fly in the Crux Wing are the Browns, Scarlets, and medium-sized Color-phases.--
Wingleader: Wingsecond: Wingriders: Z'ald of Brown C-P Asemath
Nadir Wing --Dragons of the Nadir Wing are often the smallest and fleetest of the dragons, but have less stamina than their larger counterparts. They dart about at a height above that of the queen wing, trying to get all the Thread that the dragons of the higher ones missed. Mostly Blues and Greens inhabit this wing, but occasionally the small Scarlet or Color-phase.--
Wingleader: Wingsecond: Wingriders: R'keh of Green Amirinth, Jordana of Green Livith, Raisa of Green Kaharaith
Rainha Wing --Dragons of the Rainha Wing are the queens of the Weyr, Pearls and Golds. Goldriders fly with agenothree tanks, while Pearls can blow their own fire and do so. They fly at the lowest altitude, burning the Thread that makes it through all three higher-flying Wings.--
Wingleader: Jasmyn of Pearl Azarith Wing-Second: Wing Riders:
Bayi Wing --The Bayi Wing is for Weyrling dragons old enough to fly (between one and two). All colors of dragons are in it until graduating to one of the other Wings. These dragons do not chase Thread, but bring firestone to the dragons who need it and provide food to the dragons who don't. (Since we don't know quite how they blow their fire yet... it's best to keep them well fed.)--
Candidate Galarvan S'cyn, Rider of Bronze Rodath, Pet: Color-Phase Blue Verius Z'ald, Rider of Brown Color-Phase Asemath L'cos, Rider of Blue Endath
